Digital Monsters Ver. S: Digimon Tamers #BestOfSaturn

Late 1998 saw Bandai release Digital Monsters Ver. S: Digimon Tamers exclusively in Japan. An evolution of sorts of the Tamagotchi concept, players hatch, care for, scold, clean up after, and generally raise up to four Digimon in this pet simulation / management game.

The game itself takes place in a virtual PC desktop, and players can contact other NCP trainers, collect URL links, and battle others for medals. The goal of the game is to find and defeat the antagonistic Hackers.

The game is excellent for Digimon fans — whip out your Saturn mouse and give it a go!

A Saturn fan since the beginning, Peter plays Saturn almost exclusively. For Peter, Saturn represents a moment in time where 2D games were at their best, 3D was just rising, and fascinating gaming 'firsts' were commonplace.  There are very few Saturn games that Peter cannot find some enjoyment in!
